BEAR BASH

Bear Bash originated in Amsterdam and, after a year of success, made its way to London.

It started as a bar night celebrating the male form in all its shapes, sizes, ages, and textures, with a special soft spot for the hairier side of things

.

You don’t have to be a bear to come to Bear Bash. It’s for guys with a hairy chest, a hairy back, a hairy belly, or simply a hairy soul.

The night is built around two moods. Cosy Bear runs from 9 to 11pm, with lower music, easier chats, and space to actually get to know each other. From 11pm until late, Party Bear takes over: louder, sweatier, more dance-focused, and more upbeat. We always envisioned Bear Bash as the kind of party you can show up to on your own, even knowing no one, and leave having made new friends and connections in your city.

Come on your own, come with friends, bump into your ex, meet your future ex, or just hang out for the night. Bear Bash puts the spotlight on the parts of men that don’t always get the spotlight elsewhere, from big bellies and hairy backs to bald heads and everything in between.

Bear Bash also has a no-photo policy, allowing guests to feel free, dress how they want, and enjoy the night without social media regret. It’s meant to feel playful, adventurous, accessible, low-key, and rooted in community for gay men in Amsterdam and London.
